Welcome to the Epenarra Community Op Shop! Located in Wuntunugurra, approximately 200km southeast of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory, our community is dedicated to supporting one another and building strong future leaders. We are a proud, community-focused group working together to raise our families and provide opportunities for our youth.

The Epenarra Community Op Shop was established to support our local sports teams and provide essential items that are otherwise difficult to access. Due to extreme weather conditions, road closures, and the remote nature of our community, we often find ourselves cut off from necessary supplies for extended periods. Our Op Shop helps bridge that gap by ensuring our residents have access to clothing, household items, and sporting equipment.

A Message from Natalie, Our Op Shop Coordinator:

Our community is truly grateful for the generosity of those who have donated. Recently, we held a pop-up shop, and it was heartwarming to see how many families benefited. There was hardly anything left! The remaining items were boxed and sent to our neighbours in Canteen Creek for their Op Shop, so your kindness is reaching even more people.

Thanks to the Remote Op Shop Project and the generosity of supporters, we were able to use some of the funds raised to make our football presentation night possible. Natalie shares, “Our first-ever women’s team is heading to the finals, and our men’s team is doing well too! With continued support, we hope to secure a bus for next season so we can continue to grow and develop our teams.”

Having warm clothes and household items has made a huge difference for many families, Natalie explains. We have even been able to share with our neighbours at Canteen Creek, ensuring more communities benefit.
